New York At Its Best was started just barely a year ago on the premise that nothing beats personalized service, experience, and attention to detail. While many Internet sites promise special deals, travelers are often unaware of restrictions, exceptions, and fine print. Making the right choices based on price alone is not always the best course of action for travelers. We hear too many stories of travelers regretting that they didn’t contact some locals first.
With today’s frightful economy and still no drastic change in the desire to shop and travel, I recognized the need for experienced locals in the Internet age. While many poor tourists succumb to the pressure of bargaining with distasteful sites, I recognized the niche for knowledgeable experienced travel professionals that already live within the area. I also knew that travelers would appreciate the values of a full-service online tourist guide. Many travelers will learned that they actually save money by seeking the help of the world wide web rather than that of an experienced travel professional. I highlighted this fact and decided to call it, “New York At Its Best”.
